The falls are located in Assynt, Scotland and gets the name from a story of a widow who's son went out hunting and failed to return, a storm a came in over night. The next morning the widow went looking for her son and looking down over the edge of the falls she saw his body. In her grief she threw herself over the edge. They say when there is a storm you can hear the widow wailing in her grief.
